Last December I purchased a Christmas Ferris Wheel from Kmart. I used it for about nine days then packed it up in it's original packaging and stored it in an air conditioned storage unit. This year when I set it up, it made a really loud noise then stopped working altogether. When I went to their website, it said to return it to the store. Well since I purchased it last year Kmart wouldn't take it back. I emailed them again and was told to ship it back to them at MY EXPENSE (it weighs about 30 pounds and is in a very large box) and they would try to repair it or replace it by late 2009. They also stated that I needed the original receipt. I bought it last year, so of course I don't have the receipt. They are obvoisly aware of the problem with this product because it is in their frequently asked questions section but they are unwilling to do anything about it. Their customer service sucks, their merchandise is crap and they don't back up their products. Paying over $250.00 for something that only works for nine days sure seems like a rip off to me!!!
