A friend purchased a RCA Tv for me from Kmart about 8 months ago. This past weekend the tv stopped working. When calling kmart to take it back they told me that this tv was a model from 2001 and they wouldn't fix it. If this was a model from why did they sell it to me in 2004? I didn't have the receipt to prove when I purchased it since someone else had purchased it for me. Although, they told me even if I had the receipt they would only cover it for three months after the purchase date. I think this is very crappy business practice. I wasn't asking for the money back, I was asking them to replace the tv.
