I bought an rca-dvd vcr through the aol store on the internet in march of last year. It went bad in may and i sent it to thompson multimedias exchange center in el paso texas and they sent me back a piece of junk from mexico that would not even work.
I then asked for my money back and they sent me a letter stating they would refund my purchase price and to return the unit to the exchange site.instead of refunding my money they sent me yet another unit. I wrote and wrote them asking for my money and i finally got in touch with the better business bureau in oklahoma.
Then they sent me still another buy back letter and again i returned the unit and again had to write them three times with no answer. Between the price of the dvd-vcr, shipping and insurance, and toll calls i am out about four hundred dollars. I returned the last unit in october of last year.
