I bought a telephone, sent for repair 7/11/08, after several calls and promises I still have not received my phone back as promised!

I purchased a new a new GE Telephone System on October 16. I had problems with this telephone and was told to return it to Thomson, Inc.in El Paso, TX on 7/8/08 as it was still under the warranty. I insured my package and promptly sent all the product to the address provided as directed by the representative. The product arrived at their site on 7/11/08. I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks to receive my replacement telephone.

On September 2 I called to inquire about my case number which was given to me originally. The gentleman kindly looked up my case and stated that I would receive my telephone within 8-10 business days. He then gave me a new ID number.

On September 20 I called to inquire as to the status of my case and where my telephone was. I was put on hold to find the information and then told that it would be 14-21 more business days to receive my product. I was also given a new case number. Frustration has sunk in very heavily.

I cannot get any answers from this company regarding the product that I sent back as per their request, and trying to function without a reliable home telephone system is frustrating. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated!!!
