I had to disconnect my dish service 3 months before the 18 month contract was up because I moved to a place that didn't have dish service. Dish waved the $300 early disconnect fee.
John Whitford Communications installed Dish for me and charged my credit card $1,100 and sent the receipt to me telling me I disconnected early and highlighted in the fine print in his contract where it said $1,100 early disconnect fee. Come to find out I could have had dish install it for free and wouldn't have had the $1,100 fee charged to my card.
John refused to do anything about it and I ended up paying the full amount.
