In march I purcahsed an AKAI television at Fryes Electronivs. One week later i reported that it did not work. Fryes refused to interceed. Next I contacted AKAI at customer [email protected] and received a message that I would be receiving a call soon which never happened. Next I called again and a technician went to the palce were the unit is and determined that the mother board and power supply was no good. Six weeks later I called the repair company and was told that AKAI had discontinued the unit and the replacement parts for it. I contacted AKAi again and was told that they (AKAI) would replece the unti in 6 weeks. Seven went by and again I called AKAI and was told that the company had not responded trherefore thay (AKAI) could no nothing about however, they would report it again. This was 3 weeks ago. Meanwhile, they have my money and I have a piece of crap occupying sapce in my living room. What can I do?
