I would like to report that I brought a 42 inch plasma television maker is SANYO and I too brought it from Walmart May 10 and as of this year March it does not work. I spent $900.00 on this television and I called it in to the repair tv that they specialized in and also I have been getting the run around since then. I was told that my tv had a bad Y substain board and that it was going to take time to get this part. I have been waiting on this part since then, I still have not gotten it.
I have tried calling Sanyo almost everyday and I am getting annoyed with the bad customer service experience, claiming they will take your number and call you back after they found out what is going on. You never rec'd a call back, and when you do call back they have nothing for you. I feel violated, I brought this television for a lot of money and the tv is only a 2006. I have a big screen tv now, the maker is RCA and I had that tv for 12 years never been a problem. This company should be shut down and I feel that there should be a class action lawsuit on this company, because I know for a fact that they sold a lot of these lemons and they are not getting the results they need.
