I was very interested in Magic Jack, because I live in and travel in a RV, and there are places I travel to, that my cell phone has no service. I called Magic Jack and was advised that the Magic would work very good with my Hughes satellite Internet, that I use with my RV. The salesperson advised me that i could try Magic Jack for the first month (30 days) free and that my credit card would not be charged, un till after 30 days. I gave the salesperson my information, and some of the information I filled out a form on the Magic Jack web site.
I ordered a phone, and the next morning I received confirmation. Here is the copy of the confirmation.

So I was really ripped off. This $39.00 Majic Jack was charged on my credit card as $180.70 and instead of letting me have the free 30 days as advertisied, I was charged right then and there and even over charged by over $150.00. I spent over 5 days and somewhere around 9 hours trying to get this strightened out.
When the Majic Jacks arrived two days later, I decided to try them to see if it was as good as they said it was in the advertisement. I made several calls and founmd thet I could hear the party I was talking to very well, but the party I was talking to could not hear me. There was a lot of static and broken conversation on the other party's recieving end.
I finily got Majic Jack on the 11 or 12th hour I was on the phone with them to give me a returne information form. This was over two weeks later. I was very very unhappy that Majic Jackm over charged me and cjharged me, before I even had a chance to try the system out. No wonder every body I have talked to sence I fell for this FRUAD, is very unhappy and disaponted in the service that Majic Jack gives. When you call them, it is like talking to a robot on the other end, the service repersentive is programed, not top listen to your complant, but to tell you to go to this page and that page and try this and try that, and 1 to 2 hours later your disconected and you try to contact them again. I have mailed my stuff back and I am waiting for a refund on my credit card. From what I have read and herd, it might be a long wait.
