My name is Patrick and I'm a frequent buyer at Fry's Electronics. Last year, I purchased a FUTURA brand 17" Monitor from Fry's Electronic's, filled out the forms and followed the instructions to the letter (although as I recall the UPC Code was in the form of a STICKER not printed on the box.)
I remember talking with FUTURA several months ago but they had no record of receiving my rebate info. I even went to Fry's customer service in Sacramento a couple of times where I purchased the monitor. The first time I approached them, they told me that there was a serious backlog/wait for that particular set of rebates. The second time, they asked me if I made copies of everything and I told them that I thought I had but wasn't sure where they were. They said that they could not help me unless I had proof.
I'm still using this monitor to this day, but I swear I will never buy anything from Fry's Electronics where a rebate is concerned.
