Defective Rear projection chassis

I've had 4 mitsubishi rear projection tv's, all cost me over 2000.00 which I took an extended warranty on. I was told every time I purchased one that when that warranty ran out, I would be contacted by Mitsubishi to renew. That never happened. Now I know why. They were well aware of the tubes leaking in the chassis of certain models of their tvs. They even went as far as to build a trough in the new sets to catch the leak. When my first one went out from this problem, I didn't think much of it. Now that second one has gone out two years after the warranty is up, and they never contacted me to renew it, I'm now responsible for a 600.00 bill to repair it, which gets even better because their own service men don't want to touch it. I've spoke with three of them, the original that checked the tv and two others, each told me that this was a known problem with this chassis. That even if they repair it, it leads to more and more problems. Mitsubishi is refusing to help me with the repair bills, even though they KNEW there was a problem with this particular chassis. They had me run around for 4 days getting them info and then said... To bad lady, you are on your own. Management would not even speak with me. I think their business practice is lousy and that anyone who has had this problem needs to call Mitsubishi and get it out all over the internet. I will never purchase another Mitsubishi television.
