On or about 3/4/08 We canceled owe service with DierctV. Do to poor service and picture quilty. I mailed back the equipment and it was signed fo on the 12th of March. When I called on the 17th of March to make sure the received it because the sent me a letter saying the did not. It was signed for and I have the person name that signed. At first they said no, but when I told the person name the backed down. Then they said I owe $212 for early termantion. I was not under any contract, signed or verbel I could not see how I owed anything since the bill you up front. They owe me money. The said that if I did not pay the would turn me over to a collection agency. I received a bill date 4/07/08 that says I owe $0.00. Will great!
Then I receive a phone call informan me that I owe $381.00, I was floored, could not beleive what they were trying to do. Just another way for them to show their great custmor servics. Since we signed up for the bundle package though VERIZON and I have cancel them also for poor custmer service. Dierctv is saying that Verison did not pay them so I owe. Even though I paid Verizon everything billed to me. It sounds like Verizon has ripping of DierctV.
Almost day one I had trouble with DierctV for over billing, charging for channels I did not order. I truely beleive they should be investgated for poor bussiness practice. How many more custmers are going to get ripped off, Also they say they are not going to take their dish down off my house. How long before something is done to stop the ripoffs.
My next move is to find a class action suite againest. Wish me good searching on the net, there got to be one somewhere. Anyone know any good lawyers probono.
