After purchasing a Nikon 5700 from this company, I submitted rebate forms of $100 to both Nikon and Hunt's Photo and Video. Nikon promptly sent me a rebate check, but Hunt's Photo and Video never did.in addition, chasing after the rebate check was difficult, since there were no clear number to call. I alerted a person by the name of Rich Yagjian at Hunt's Photo and Video, and I get a lecture on statistics and due dates. I know I submitted the rebates on time - same time as the Nikon rebate. I resubmitted the rebate as requested and got all kinds of excuses as to why the rebate didn't go through - such as my wife's name was on the receipt and the credit card was under my name etc - even though the sales person from whom I purchased the camera from said the name discrepancy was ok. I have most of the all the emails that went back and forth on file; I even submitted a complaint to the BBB.
I am submitting this report on this web site as a warning to the rebate practices of Hunt's Photo and Video. Don't purchase any items from them on the hopes of getting rebate.
