On December 23 my Maytag dishwasher caught fire. I had been preparing food to get a Holiday celebration and found smoking and fires shooting from the leading part of the doorway. I started the desk from the method of the fires and went to slice the energy.

12/24/07 I called Maytag who explained they would need to deliver something guy out to confirm my state and also to discover when the device might be set. They planned me for 12/28/07.

The serviceman came and confirmed the device had cought fire within the control panel which he'd never noticed something want it. He also mentioned that it'd consider 25 components to repair the system at a price of $900.00. He approached his boss who informed him that Maytag created a concession and might repair the system at no cost. (device is 4 yrs old). The service-man mentioned that components could be delivered in my experience and that I must contact the support department before the planned day (1/8/08) to confirm that components were below.

Up to now, 1/4/08, no parts have appeared. I've approached Maytag and requested to possess my device changed plus they mentioned that I ought to be grateful they decided to repair it free of charge whilst the warranty I bought terminated last year.

I'm really upset using the therapy I've obtained. Maytag mentioned that my fear for what might have occurred is misguided whilst the circuit breaker might have tripped. They don't care that I'd to stop a Christmas Celebration and discard food since my home had full of black plastic smoking.

Never again can I buy a Maytag!!
