A few weeks ago I went camera hunting on Google for a Canon A720. The best deal at the time was 86th Photo & Video. Purchase price with shipping was 190.00. I bought. I gave my cc number and info along with the ccv number on back as requested on line. A few days passed and I received an e-mail asking to call 86th Street. After several recalls and about 11/2 hours of wait time, I'm greeted by a salesman. I was told that the ccv number was not correct. I know it was. I was then told that the camera I purchased was a wholesale camera and needed to be programmed which would cost 50.00. I explained to him that I have one already and Canon does not make this type of camera. He insisted I had to buy either the "computer upgrade" or a retail version for 249.00. I told him that he was wrong and to cancel the order. I was told that the order cannot be cancelled by him and was told to buy the camera. After a few back and fourths and the avenue of a lawyer along with Canon being brought into the picture, I was told the order would be canceled. I have not received my cc bill as of yet to verify the no bill. I did buy the exact camera from another company for 10.00 less with no hassles... Buyer beware of this company.
