We bought a $100 power adapter for a laptop computer. The connection wasn't a good fit. We took the cord back to Circuit City just days later, but they refused to provide a refund.instead, they had us exchange it for the exact same cable. Of course, it had the exact same problem. I wrote to Circuit City management, but they ignored me at first. Then, I contacted them two to three more times and they finally responded with a $50 gift card. Well, the product was $100, not $50.
In the end, Circuit City sells defective products and the consumers foot the bill. My warning: stay away from this store.
