BUYDONLIN.com, no don't buy donlin.
Electronics at fantastic prices... NOT quite. I thought I was buying a HD video projector at an awesome price. I selected it, went through the checkout process and everything seemed fine. I even got an e-mail confirming my order. A week went by, and nothing arrived at my door. I called customer service, they said they decided NOT to honor their prices and would not be sending me anything. Apparently they just put up phony prices to get better ratings on Froogle.com and other pricing sites, then they do not honor the prices that brought you to them in the first place. If you want to pay THOUSANDS of dollars more than what they are advertising, maybe they will actually send you something. I also find it a little suspicious that all three times I spoke with customer service it was the EXACT same guy, and random hours on different days. I mean if this isn't one guy scamming people out of his house, then statisticly speaking, what are the odds of getting the same guy everytime? The last time I called, I asked him how he felt about his company's practices of price changes and false advertising. He denied it, was very rude, and then hung up.
I will now be changing my credit card number thanks to these suspicious scammers (or scammer if it is just one guy). I recommend avoiding this site and these people. And I have no idea how many people besides me have had their orders simply cancelled without being told at all. No email, no phone call, nothing. And yet they require all of this information when you checkout.in short, avoid these false advertisers. If anyone knows a lawyer who likes filing false advertising lawsuits, and doesn't require money upfront, let me know. I just wanted my $9000.00 worth of equipment, but all I got was a hassle.
