Purchased an Element model FLX-3210 HD tv from Circuit City on May 24th, 07. This set apparently made only for Circuit City. It has developed a red dot on the upper left of the screen. Circuit City says after 30 days if you didn't purchase one of their extended warranties (extra bucks) they will not honor any complaints. Have called Proview three times (manufacture of television) and sent one e-mail, the e-mail was not answered. Proview says they will do nothing until there are "8" dots in the screen!
Contacted the Circuit City store manager about the problem and after a somewhat heated discussion his answer was, "can I help you with anything else" Circuit City says they don't back any manufacture warranty after 30 days. You can bet, they get credit or their money back when they send something back to the vendor!
No more Circuit City for me, ever.
