They continue to add on charges long after I cancelled the service and reuse to speak to me or make contact Ripoff

In after retirement; we decided to spend our summers in Michigan. I notified Sprint of our temp mailing address. Never rec'd a bill.in November we returned to our home in Florida and again notified Sprint of the correct address. All winter long, no monthly statment, but I was paying based on my last printed bill, each month well before the due date.
In April we again notified Sprint of the temp Michigan address in writing. Still no statment. For April and may, I went to a local Sprint store to find out what my bill was and kept the payments current. Unfortunately, where we were staying in Michigan is out side of the Sprint service area and we could only use the phone while traveling.By the end of May, I had discovered from Sprint's own service area map, that we were located outside of their service area. Along with the problem of getting the billing, it was time to cancel the contract, based on their not being able to provide service.

During June and July it was ridiculaous trying to make contact with anyone. The service had been cancelled as I requested effective at the end of the period for which It had been paid; but all of a sudden they found my address and started sending me inflated bills. Not only the cancellation fee which I was prepared to pay ($150.00) but additional charges and fees with no explanation.

It is imposible to make contact with Sprint by using a land line phone, and they play around with me every time I try to make contact by internet; forcing me to use a new password each time. I have lost count of the various passwords. Can't contact them by cell phone because it doesn't work.

I finally made copies of all internet e-mails, listed all the phone calls and all of the on-time payments and sent it by snail mail to Customer Service asking for a resolution. So far they have not responded except to send me a new updated bill with another $11.25 charge added on. That place down below "can feeze over" before I submit to outrageous charges, without even an explanation as to why they continue to bill me

Incidentlly, I did manage to make a contact with a live person one Sunday evening. After going through my ID info, she determined that I did not even have an account since November. I questioned that but she insisted. I asked her to send me a final bill showing no balance, just as she insisted that there was no open account anymore. I never rec'd such a final bill and I beleive now that it was simply a stalling tactic and that they added on more charges even while I am still waiting.
I will never ever deal with Sprint again and I urge everyone to be very prudent in dealing with them if you are already under contract.
