Deceitful, Lies, Inaccurate Information that is given Ripoff

I opened my acct with Blue Hippo in Sept'06 and was never told that I had to mail copies of driver license, proof of residence, bank statement, etc until the day that I wanted to cancel in Dec'06. When I kept getting the run around concerning my computer being shipped since my 3 mos of good pmts were made. They sent me a paper stating that I had to send all these copies. I told them I will not and to cancel my acct. I felt as though that info should had been gathered before they took out the first pmt or when the first pmt was taken out. So the rep argued with me for about 45 mins concerning cancelling my acct due to those terms and she said that it would be 4-6 wks. Well that time expired and they had put in their system that I cancelled in jan'07, which was a lie. So then they stated to be patient and give it another 4-6 wks. When that time expired I called back and they stated 4-6 wks again. During that time frame I had to put a block on my acct due to fraudalent activity so then when they did send it the bank did not do their job. So when I caught it in March I called them and told them that the bank sent the funds back. Well I had sent a complaint on their website two wks prior and someone from their corporate office, as he stated, emailed me and stated that now a manual check will have to be sent and it will take about 8-12 wks, but could be sooner. Well I also received a letter from a cust svc mgr in April stating that it would be 45 days. Well both time periods expired and when I called back they said to give it 7-10 business days for a response. When I called back in June they stated that my refund was approval, which it was ever since jan, and it would be 4-6 wks. Well that time expired so I just recently called and they said give it 7-10 business days for a repsonse. It is ridiculous that I have cancelled my acct since Dec and I am still waiting for my refund. I don't think that I should have to pay the ETF, but they been took their fees out. I got a laptop for a much cheaper price and it happened that same day. Companies gets over with people whom has bad or no credit or if they mention free items. Something should be done about this particular company b/c they are really ripping customers off. Over 2000 for a gateway laptop is just too expensive and I can get a refurbish/brand new Dell for 400. All stores sells computer for less than 1000. Nobody get a computer from this company!!!
