In November we purchased a Diret TV Dish System through PrimeTV. We were told that if we sent in the appropriate paperwork we would recieve $140.00 in a rebate form. We submitted all the necessary paperwork, and about 3 months later we received a notice stating that they required more info in order to process our rebate.
We sent the reqqested info to them and called them as well and informed them of our dissapointment in the length of time it took them to respond to us. We waited another month and no rebate.instead another letter requesting still additional info that was never initially requested. We called them and they again assured us that if we sent this additional info our rebate would be mailed within two weeks.
That was 10 months and at least 57 calls ago. It is now almost a year and we still have no rebate. We call every week and every week we log who we talk to and every week we are told that they enter us as priority on the list and that the list is long, but we will have our check within two weeks.
They are running a scam. We would like to know where we go from here to get help. There appears to be many of us in the same boat with these people and possibly we could file a class action together and get results. Please advise.
