Audiofile Clark and Cory or Brian Dilley ripoff right out of a van scammed taken advantage of dirty SOB's

I had just came out of home depot, because I was purchasing some touch ups for my house. When I was pulling out of the parking lot, a van passed by me, then stopped. They stopped all traffic, backed up into the lane next to me and began shouting frantically: "we got the hook ups. Trust us, best damn thing. Oh man, check it out. Speakers, great ones right here! Look a magazine with it. Worth $1500!" Prior to these frantic shouts, they asked me if I was high, and that I looked high. I told them I wasnt and never had been, they then proceeded to tell me about these speakers. The driver, Clark, told me to pull over and check them out. The item was the audiofile HT 2006 home theatre system.

Clark opened up his van, I looked at the magazine that had the advertisement of audiofile. At the bottom it said "Retail Price $1500". I became very interested and he told me that he would sell them to me for $600. The natural salesman in me told me to bargin them down. So I asked them for $400, and they told me "buy it for the deal". Bargining went back and forth and finally we came to $510. He then told me he was in a hurry, for he was on his way back to work and that if his boss saw them, his boss would take them. I proceeded to tell him that I dont know where an ATM was. He said there was a gas station on eastern, a chevron.

When we arrived, I became hesitant. I feared that this seemed to good to be true, and that I really shouldnt fall for it. Then I thought about the potential of selling them on ebay. That didnt seem like a bad idea, plus I could use the money for college. So I went inside, got the money, and Came back. I asked for the "invoices they had showed me" (which were only purchase orders, I came to find out). I asked for the 2 of them and I asked for both their numbers. Last thing he mentioned while giving me the numbers was that he would buy it back from me after work. I got ripped off royally, and I plan to do whatever I can to get my money back. Hopefully usacomplaints.com can help. Here is some information of the scam artists:

Clark (passenger)- stayed in the van, so couldnt tell height. Taking a guess I would say 5'9". Was chinese, japanese, or korean and had no facial hair. Black hair and had a NOKIA 3395 phone. I asked him his service provider, and he said CINGULAR. His potential phone number is: 324-7833 (everytime I call the number is busy). White shirt, beige color pants.

Cory (driver)- got out of the car to get cigarettes. About 6 ft tall. Dirty blonder hair, cut short. Took off his hat only when he went inside, so I caught a glimpse of it. Was white and had a little facial hair. Just a prickly beard growing in. Blue pants, white shirt. Potential number: 616-1768 (home phone number. When I call I get an answering machine.)

I hope this helps all out there in the country and especially las vegas. Thats right folks, these SOB's have began in sin city.

Here is the story that was exactly like mine, that lead me to ripoff: http://usacomplaints.com/Stereos/Audiofile/audiofile-speakers-ripoff-dish-B7F93.htm
