I ordered a Canon A540 after The Digital Nerds showed the lowest price, and received very good ratings fromeveryprice.com, and did not indicate the camera was refurbished. After I received an email confirming my order, and asking that I telephone to confirm my order (a tip-off), I called, but there was a message that they were closed until over 2 hours after their "opening" time (another tip-off). When I got through, I was offered the sale of items I didn't want, and then asked if I knew the item was refurbished. As I didn't, I said "no" (I rechecked the website — there was no description of the item at the advertised price being refurbished). I was asked if I wanted to order a new camera (at $50 more). I said I wanted to cancel the order, and the person abruptly said "canceled" and hung up. There are more hints on the company's website. No address or contact information, except by phone, and a 20% restocking fee once an order is "billed".
