Costco Online Shopping: Order Number: 18215938
On Mar 18 at about 18:49: 52, I placed an order online at costco.com to purchase Sceptre 23" LCD HDTV for $399.99.
With shipping charges and taxes, the total was $440.99. My credit card was immediately charged.
On Costco online shopping's website, it specifically stated that it would ship the product in two days.
However, on March 20, I received an email, saying that the product was out of stock. They also expect the "order to ship the week of April 16th."
However, on Tue, Apr 3, I was informed that the order was cancelled.
There was no indication on why the order was cancelled.
I originally expected the order to be shipped in two business days... And that's why I placed the order. I also saw that my credit was immediately charged.
However, almost a month has passed... And I was told the order was cancelled. My family was expecting the product. And now they are in great disappointment to without having a TV, and also for the way Costco handled our order.
Therefore, we are filing a formal complaint against Costco.
