Just like everyone else here, I was a scammed out of my hard earned money. I bought two ipod nanos for my sister and a friend and I actually did get responses to my emails but they were all to say that my order had shipped but I had to wait 48 hours for a tracking number because the system needed to update.
I called many many times and was able to get through three times and I spoke to a woman named "Cindy" who told me that my order had been shipped but to call back in 48 hours for my tracking number. I waited and called again and when I finally got through all the busy signals, "Cindy" once again told me that she didn't understand why the system still didn't show a tracking number but that I should try to call again the next day.
I did just that and was lucky and persistent enough to get through a third time and "Cindy" answered again to tell me that I shouldn't worry that the tracking number still didn't show up because the computer clearly showed that my order had shipped. She asked me to call in the afternoon because she was sure I would get my tracking number by then. Surprise, surprise, nobody answered this time.
I tried calling again this morning and when I finally gave up, I filed my claim with paypal. Before I filed the claim, I checked out the site: www.ipodsrule.com and it was still up and looked legitamate. Ten minutes after I filed my claim, I checked again and the site was no longer up and the numbers, 1877-816-6597 and 1866-602-5425 both were disconnected. (I dialed those numbers so many times, I memorized them.)
I had to accept that I'd been scammed and I had to buy a new set of ipods. I highly recommend that everyone who has been scammed by this company, do as the person before me suggested, file a claim with the FBI at www.fbi. Gov and click on internet crimes to the left. I did as this person suggested and I'm hoping and praying that these people, especially "Cindy", get what's coming to them and I don't mean that all expenses paid trip to Mexico.
