We purchased our Hitachi 50" 50V525 design Television from sears canada also it was shipped in September. Once we were getting into our new house (not until March) It sat until then.

It worked fine until July when it began to work up. Image might simply set off and display might turn orange.

We called sears prior to the year warranty time was up as well as bought at one more $250.00 a long warranty.

We've had a sears service-man below three times to repair the equipment but to no avail. Today he says it requires a circuit-board and lighting motor. We've been with no Television since mid-september and sears recommended they might not obtain the component until mid- December. Another 2 weeks waitng.

Hitachi are absolutly worthless because they recommend they've a "unique" agreement with Sears and that I would need to cope with them. Component needs to originate from offshore. Sears wouldn't do something for all of US possibly and we simply invested over $12,000. On new devices together.

You call this support???

Other people available experiencing this sort of therapy?

Oh well so what can we anticipate nowadays.
