I purchased 2 Motorola V3 cell phones online from the Wirefly website in Feb with the promise that I would receive two $140 rebates (for a total of $280). I followed the rebate requirements with absolute accuracy, and have photocopies of all information that I submitted.
I was promised the rebates would arrive 10-12 weeks after maintaining an account in good standing for 60 days. I filed the rebates as soon as I had the second monthly cell phone bill (this was required for the rebate). I also made sure to have the rebate application arrive between the 60-120 day period.
I have not yet received my rebate. I religiously checked the rebate status website and eventually it recognized that my rebates were processing. I had phone numerous times to enquire about the status, with no help or answers, although, I occasionally made contact with a real person.
After July 7th the cell phone rebate status website changed, it stated then and to this day: "Claim not found." They apparently have no "digital record" of my rebate but there may be a paper copy that "hasn't arrived at the new office/location" handling the rebates. I have called often to inquire about what is going on. Each time I call and get through to a person, I am promised that I will receive a phone call with information in the next 5-10 business days. I never receive a phone call back.
It is now Sept. 26, I was to have these rebates no later than the end of July. On Sept. 22 I received the promise that a supervisor/manager will call me in 24-48 hours, which has not happened. I need some help please. Any information would be extreemly helpful. Thanks.
