I purchased a Fellowes paper shredder on 2/14/05. A year and six months later, today, 8/28/06 a piece of plastic came up from the machine and jammed the cutters rendering the machine useless. I called the number they have listed for help in the United States. 1-800-955-0959. I got Shane on the line at Fellowes. I told Shane the model number was T580C. He asked me what I was lubricating the cutters with. I told him what your company recommends, non-aerosol vegetable oil. He mentioned to shredder numbers that replaces the one I have. I asked if my five year warranty on defects in material and workmanship apply. The answere was, " No" I told him I will buy another shredder but I doubt it will be a fellowes.
