This complaint is about the internet company Wirefly. They offer internet deals on purchasing cell phones. Basically they offer your phone for free after they have charged your credit card the full amount for the phone the day you order it. The agreement is after you have paid your cell phone bill for a full six months they will send you a check for the cost of your phone minus the instant rebate for $50.00 which should accompany your phone. The phone came, my credit card was charged and the $50.00 credit from Verizon came expired. I called immediately and they said they would send a valid one out. Never did. I wrote to the company about this and no-one responded. Once six months past they give you a narrow window of time to provide your paid phone bills. Send it a day early it is rejected, or a day late you have voided the offer.
Well it has now been thirteen months and I have still not recived a check. I have called numerous times and they always say the same thing it is going out tomorrow allow another 8-10 weeks for the check to arrive. This company Wirefly should be put out of business, they misrepresent themselves and they do not adhere to their own terms, but who is going to make them operate legally? They know most people are not going to sue for $150.00. Hope my comments help just on other person from being RIPPED-OFF!!!
