Purchased an Olevia LT42HVI television from Beach Camera on 11/27/05 with the promise of a $400.00 rebate from Syntax. Sent in all necessary items for the rebate to Syntax Brillian on 12/13/05. They received these items on 12/15/05. Rebate was supposed to take 10-12 weeks.
After 12 weeks and no rebate, I checked their web site for my rebate status. They showed no record for my rebate. I then called them. I got disconnected after being on hold for 20-25 minutes. I then sent e-mails to two e-mail addresses for their company receiving a response stating that I would get my rebate in 2-3 weeks.
Three weeks passed and still no rebate. Sent additional e-mails to them inquiring about the rebate and did not receive any response. Contacted Beach Camera regarding this problem. They e-mailed Syntax on my behalf. Still no response.
It has now been over 6 months since I purchased the television and still have not received the rebate.
