I purchased two Motorola RAZR phones from CellularChoices.net a.K. A Inphonic on July 5. Each of the two phones qualified for 2 rebates. Totaling $400.00.
I waited the mandatory 180 days before submitting the rebates. One month later I inquired about the status of the rebates and CellularChoices.net claimed the rebates were never received. However, after notifying the company that I sent the documents via Certified Mail, and I had proof that they were delivered. All the rebates mysteriously appeared in their system the next day.
The rebate forms were sent on January 10. The contract stated that it would take 10-12 weeks to receive the check. It has now been 14 weeks and I have NOT received anything. After NUMEROUS e-mails CellularChoices.net has now told me that it will be an additional 10-12 weeks before I receive my check. A total of 26 weeks! If it ever does come.
Inphonic/CellularChoices is clearly committing fraud by deliberately not upholding their part of the contract. I hope this issue can be promptly resolved. I will post any updates.
