Verizon Wireless is a ripoff, they sold me a phone plan saying there would never be any roaming, but ended paying hundreds of dollars in roaming charges. Roaming was not properly explained.
I was sold a Verizon wireless contract at Sam's in Jackson, TN. My understanding was for no roaming charges. First of all the phone was not properly programmed, then roaming charges were incurred.
Upon visiting the main Verizon office on N. Highland, I was informed of what my plan really was and also how to properly program the phone. At this visit I was explained that I really would have roaming charges and how this plan really worked. It was too late then to cancel the contract.
I would be happy at this point if I could just cancel the contract and start over with someone else.
