Dish Network - All Satellite
As a new customer, they took away Lifetime Movie Channel and raised the regular rates without prior notice, ripoff

I signed up for Dish Network with All Satellite. I was told by the salesperson that he would waiver the $5.00 monthly charge for the DVR box (which was untrue). On my first bill, they charged me for it. I contacted ALL Sat and they sent me a check for $60 to make up for it.

I chose America's Top 120 channels because I wanted Lifetime and Lifetime Movie channel. Within two months, Lifetime Movie channel was eliminated from the programming package I chose. I called customer service and they are only giving me a $5.00 one-time credit on my bill which is unsatisfactory for me. If I want to have Lifetime Movie channel restored, I have to pay more money and get the America's Top 160 channels.

I just got my latest bill and they informed me that their rates have gone up for the DVR box and also the programming package. The rates went up without any prior notice.

I wrote them an email concerning these issues about 6 days ago on feedback@customermail. Dishnetwork.com and I have never received an answer. I still have the email saved on my Sent folder.

I am unhappy about Lifetime Movie channel being removed from my programming package.

I am unhappy that I would have to upgrade to a higher priced programming package to get Lifetime Movie Channel.

I am unhappy that they have raised their prices without any prior notification.

I am unhappy that they have not answered my email in regard to these issues.

I am having internal phone problems also. When talking on the phone I can hear a news broadcast in the background. My phone company tells me it is not a problem with the outside phone lines. It must be Dish Network interfering.
