Rebate website states that:
We handle millions of rebates/promotions; each request is handled separately. This level of individual attention is why it can take up to 8 weeks to process a rebate/promotion.
8 weeks from the original date of purchase is February 2. I mailed this December 5th.
I contacted the Seagate promotion Center because the rebate was not listed on the site. I received a response via email on January 20th. Candy reported to me that it may have been misdirected or lost in the mail. She also asked me to resubmit copies for processing. I faxed January 24th.
Sent an email on January 28th asking why it was not on the site. The email requested that I wait 48 hours before it was available on the site. Received no response.
Sent another email on February 7th requesting an update because I still did not see my rebate on the site.
Checked the site February 13th and found that my rebate was on the site, and it was denied because I didn't sent a receipt and it was sent past the original date.
Called the 1800 number on the rebate form and talked to a Manager Charles employee #G-00003 on 02/13/06 around 7:30PM MST. He reported to me that he would not do anything, and he would not give me his supervisor's name. Would not assist. Refused to escalate.
