Ripoff, deceiving the public, false advertising, misleading the public

Cellular Choices is a big rip off.

My husband and I ordered phones in January and were told we would get a $75 rebate per phone. Of course, there was a big catch. We had to wait 180 days before we could mail it in (I'M SURE THEY WERE HOPING WE WOULD FORGET). We marked our calendar so we would know exactly when to mail the rebate, and we mailed it between the 180 and 210 days that was requested. However, we did not hear from Cellular Choices until October, 3 months after we sent the rebate, when they emailed us to let us know they received it and that it was in process.

I waited from October to December and still did not receive my rebate. I checked the email they sent me in October and opened the email address and found a place to inquire about my rebate. This is when I found out that we would not be getting a rebate because "IT WAS NOT POSTMARKED IN THE ALLOTED TIME." According to them, it was postmarked 3 days late (HOW CONVENIENT). How can I prove that it was postmarked in the alloted time, when I don't have the envelope with the postmark on it. I have emailed Verizon Wireless to inform them of the big rip off practices of Cellular Choices and to let them know how unhappy I am.

Please, tell everyone you know who is interested in ordering a phone over the internet, do not use cellular choices!!
