Well, I am another victim of onrebate's business ethics, or lack of. It was for a laptop purchased from Tiger Direct.
I was denied a $100 rebate based on lack of evidence. They have told me that I did not submit a sales receipt. I had 5 rebates to prepare that day and went through them meticulously. I even took a break before mailing them so I could recheck them. They make it as difficult as possible, however, they were completed as requested. It seems that there is no recourse.
I received a form email from TigerDirect/Onrebate basically saying I should read the instructions carefully and thta it was not a valid submission. I also had 3 other rebates go in that day and they have not updated those either. I wonder if they will disappear. I have seen others file FTC and BBB complaints, so that is where I am headed.
