Panasonic Consumer Affairs
Be C.E.O. Or Individual... Panasonic & Mike don't like you... To return!

The wonderful people at Panasonic advertise a 24hr replacement in text when the consumer buys a fax machine as well as other products. The C.E. O of 1GreatDomain.com has waited over four weeks to find a "fair and honest", not to mention "ethical" dispute resolution, only to end up with a phone bill half as much in cost as the failed unit.

Consumer transactions are tough enough. When people like Mike Marino (201-392-6100) Legal administrator for consumer affairs at their Secaucus facility, located New Jersey, do everything possible to avoid their responsibility, even to the C.E.O. Whom is forced to deal with the situation... What hope does the average consumer have?

This after Panasonic and their sister companies Quasar and Technics as well as the parent corp., knowing disinterested third party witnesses heard promise after promise broken and expenses mount far higher than the cost of the failed product. Even Joe Longo with MIS, personally guaranteed to pay for a replacement unit, is still holding 1GreatDomain.com consumer captive! The C.E.O. Was told a new unit would be held on escrow. From our understanding of the law, escrow is a "disinterested third party".

Over a month later... Panasonic is still not living up to the 24 hr turnaround. When customer service was asked for a supervisor, even that was met with a prompt disconnect only to take over a week of long distance calls clear across country. Countless dollars spent on legal, over 100.00 spent buying new film (which was not the problem) employee cost, etc. What would happen to the average consumer? Is this the way we want to be treated by Panasonic, Quasar, and Technics?

When corporate buyers and C.E.O. S are put through so many obstacles, to find they must use the full power of the law (waiting years for a settlement), why should we give our hard earned dollars to companies that are less than responsive to their own obligations? Let your feelings be heard! Stop Mike Marino and others whom make it so difficult to feel good about the corporation. Let them know how you feel! Pick up the phone and "Just say no". Call Mike and let him know!
