I have a 3 year old front load Samsung washer, it came as a package deal with a house I bought. Had a repairman in to look at it because of a burning smell. He said its either the tub or bearings need replacing, also said the parts and labour would cost almost as much as a new machine. Likely sold by Sears but they wouldn't do a thing since I didn't buy it direct from them, Samsung has a 1 year warranty, wouldn't do anything either. An expensive wash machine, done after 3 years. Will not purchase another Samsung product of any kind and I will encourage others to do the same unless I get some action taken soon.
