I and my husband and 12 year old son, were on vacation in Miami October 6 to October 10 before a cruise. I bought a digital camera Casio Ex-P600 with a underwater house, Sony Projector VPLDS100, complete Home Theater Panasonic and a Projection Screen with motor and frame.
The salesman told my husband and me that our purchase of US $3,700.00 would be charged to our credit card in 24 monthly installments - and it was tried charged in one shot.
Because of the vacation we had to keep some of our money. We were not able to pay everything in one shot long away from home and one vacation. The agreement was in 24 months of payment!
But we agreed to pay $3.000.00 fore the Casio EX-P600, the underwater house and the Sony projector. And had to use to credit cards and nearly all our money. All in one shot!
The underwater house should be send to Norway with the screen and complete home theater. Because we had paid all to much fore the projector, they should send the rest the 15. October and we should pay $700.00 included every possible tax and freight a couple of days after delivery in Norway - and send the money by wire transfer to Bargain products La Mirage.
We asked several times in the shop with the owner present if the freight and every taxes in Norway was included. And so it was, they told us. NO PROBLEM!
The owner Raymond, the manager Tony and the saleswoman Miriam were present at that time. And they were informed of everything in the deal!
I have called Bargain Products La Mirage many times after coming back to Norway. I have spoken to several in the shop and everybody plays the game that they do not know what's happening.
They told me a week before Christmas that it would be send the same day and gave me a DHL tracking number. They have had problem with holidays?!
The same they told me last week with the same DHL tracking number. And it is impossible to track. Because they never send anything. I have been spending money calling for nothing. 3 days ago miriam should call me back. Did she? Of course not! Everyone I have talked to, have served me lies.
According to them the stores send merchandise to Europe, but the way they do business are just terrible:
They do not answer all phone calls.
They lie.
They do not give the customer what they have promised.
They do not give the costumer what is already paid fore.
This is fraud of innocent and trusting tourists!
We will soon try get in contact with the Miami police department. And try to charge them for fraud. Hopefully they will receive a giant fee.
If we could, we would want to deliver the camera and projector back and have our $3.000.00 instead. It's better and much cheaper to buy in serious shops in Norway.
Be aware of Bargain products la Mirage!!!
Keep away from them if you want to avoid trouble and loose your money!
