I ordered a digital phone from Vorizon, which seemed to be a good buy since the extra option of internet access, and the promice of numberous repeater terminals offered excellent services.
I kept the phone for 2 days. I was unable to complete a single call, and never able to access the internet or other internet features such as downloaded tones, games etc.
I returned the phone within the time of 17 days. The company counted the time that it took them to send the phone and the time it took them to receive it into this time frame. There were actually 5 days. I returned the phone after 48 hours
I immediately started receiving bills for 207.50. I assumed that the $150.00 phone had not been credited back to the account. The amounts never changed, and the explanation of charges did not include any of this money.
I sent one letter that was refused at one address. I sent another to the collection agency address. I spoke with one phone collector who said they would wait for the letter, then contact me again. I did not ever hear from the company again. My credit rating has been lowered as a result of this.
