My wife signed up for Directv at Wal-mart. When they arrived to install, they told us our guest suite was to far away and they would reschedule for another time. We never heard back from them. They never refunded out initial deposit. I was told by directv that they were not responsible for the deposit refund because it was sold at wal-mart. They then billed my account for the first month's service. I called and explained that we had not had the service installed and they said they would refund my money by check, despite the fact they deducted the money electronically. On 1/1 Directv stole $694.00 from my account for " early cancellation" despite the fact that they never installed a single piece of equipment. I called to find out why they had done that and they said they would refund my money the next day and that they had already processed the refund. Today, after 3 days of waiting for my money that I need to pay my utilities to reappear, I was told that the refund was proccesed yesterday and it would not arrive for 30 days. To date I have not recieved one penny from directv and they have told me three different stories. They have stolen $778.79 from my family, and now we are risk of late fees for utilities. They are obviously delaying my repayment, and I suspect they have a system in place to scam lots of money in order to build cash for the purpose of making intrest off of the money they hold for 30 days. Do not purchase directv. They are predetors!
