5 month wait for the 3rd time on parts ripoff

I purchased a 52" big screen from a local electronics store "Fry's" electronics here in dallas Tx. (whom i will be reporting next).

I purchased the 3 yr extended warranty and it went out almost 1 yr to the day. I called frys and they set up the pick up of my tv and I did not see it for over 6 months the first time.

By the 6th month I decided to call apex and fibd out what was going on and to my surprise the cust svc operator told me that they just went through a change over and there was a 6 week back up on all svc and parts which did not explain the other 18 weeks.

However I finally recieved my tv about 3 weeks after that, and 2 months later it went out again and I did not see it again for another 4 months.

I recieved the tv back and it sat in my living room for about 20minutes and it went out 1 final time. Apex claims that they sent me out a new tv and when the repair shop delivered it, it turns out that it was just a refurbished one!

So as of right now Nov. 15 my tv has been at the repair shop agin for a total of almost 4 months this time. That is a total of 14 months out of 2 and a half years!

Trying to get a hold of apex is like trying to get a hold of someone that owes you money! I never will buy another item from this company and I make sure to tell all of my customers also at the major electronics store that I work at now.

The cust svc there is a joke and the parts dept. Won't do anything to help you at all!

Unless I receive some sort of resolve to this issue soon I will continue to post messages on this site so that no one else is treated like this.

In this day and age of technology you would think a large corporation like this would treat their customers better but i guess that goes to show the more advanced we get as a society the less customer service matters. I guess they figure that the merchandise is paid for already and maybe we as consumers will just get tired of bothering them.
