Rude customer service - Home Depot At Home Services

I am in the process of dealing with this issue, but I have a feeling it is going to go badly. We had a salesman come to our home to help us order a window. He sat in our living room, looked at what we currently had (wood interior Anderson) and then turned around and ordered us a vinyl interior window. There is no indication on the paperwork that I was given that I would not be getting the wood interior window. When I called him to ask him how this happened, he lied then just got incredibly rude. He basically gave me the "oh well" attitude. So, we have been talking to different levels of people for the past two weeks. Now, a sales manager, who initially said he was coming to our home to see what we were talking about, calls tonight to offer us a deal. Clearly, we wants to avoid having to deal with this any further. But, the best part is the deal he offered. He said we could pay an additional $600 for the window we wanted AND pay a RESTOCKING fee for the window they would take back. Mind you, we haven't paid more than the initial 25% we had to pay when the order was placed. I must say that this "deal" is anything but a deal. Unless the salesman is fired for being a complete idiot, I am not paying for an thing! They must be crazy. I already sent a three page detailed complaint to corporate, but they came back with this. I will NEVER shop at home depot again. And, that is sad because I loved David in the cabinet department. He was great, but not great enough to overlook this disaster!
