NCU claims to be an online school. It is online only in that you submit your work through a website. It is an electronic versions of a correspondence school.
Basically you read some chapters and write a paper. Once in a while you will have to do a powerpoint or something else other than a paper; however, when you look at the directions on what to submit, it is always the same. They are clearly using a template with no changes to reflect the assignment.
There is little interaction between classmates. The only way you can have discussion is if your instructor sets up a thread. Otherwise, there is no interaction with your classmates.
Instructor's are very different. Some of the assignments in the class I'm taking right now ask for specifics, but yet I'm graded down for following those directions. The instructor wants nothing but theory, theory, theory and will only respond if you use SKYPE.
