Not long ago I purchased a computer, and added DSL serivce from my provider, SBC. I don't believe that SBC handles personal information about its customers confidentially, in regards to at least its DSL service. I have had billing mistakes in the past, from my telephone service provider, before SBC moved its offices to West Sacramento and Rancho Cordova.
I do not think that these office moves have improved the SBC service at all. The operators accents at (877) SBC-DSLL are so thick a person cannot understand what it is they are being told, and at times these persons are recalcitrant when detailing the information concerning a customer's problem.
