This company had done to me what it had done to hundreds of other distributors, by appearing as though they were solvent, when in reality, they were not. They were closed down for deceptive pracitices and used illegal and fradulent means for getting money form individuals, such as myself, to become distributors at a grossly inflated price, along with paying for locating services, of which I got nothing but the terminals but paid about $24K for ; now, there is no service or recourse.
I want to inform all of the other distributors that the filing of civil lawsuits against this company will be useless as that they are under Bankruptcy protection, and I am assured that their liabilities will far exceed what could ever be gleaned from the company. My suggestion is to continue the research on the owners Harris Cohen et. Al. And find a way to file criminal charges against them, the President Rick Nye and others (I have some of those names). These scammers perpetrated a massive fraud and should be in the slammer!
I own other business interest and for that reason, I have not had time until now to proceed to start the "ball rolling " on all of this.
What further infuriates me is that I had contacted the BBB before entering in any arrangement with AmeriPOS in january of this year, and the report from the BBB was favorable. What is this crap? Don't they have any idea as to what is going on or are they just a "pay and get white-washed and sanitized" clearing -house?
I hope that someone out there reading this can give me and others the proper place to file criminal complaints ; otherwise, it will be necessary to do so in the community of Hallandale Beach. Florida is a lousy state and fosters all sorts of scams and scumbags, and, rest assured, this is the last time I have any dealings with anyone or any business in Florida. The police will do little to nothing ; but, who ever was the regulatory agency who put them out of business is who to communicate. I will do so if I can find out who it is and relay the same accordingly.
