I received a Nigerian emaail requesting my assistance in claiming a large sum of money from a deceased individual with my last name. Suspecting a scam, I searched the internet for Lagos, Nigeria attorney's, and that is when I found this ripoff website. I have not responded to the emails (I received two on 9/6), and have no intentions of doing so.
Besides reporting the scam in this complaint, I plan to report it to my internet provider. I doubt that anyone will catch the culprits, but if this report saves someone the grief of losing money, then the time it takes to file this report is worth it.
