I just got a survey along with a $400 rebate today. I was so excited after reading through the products that were offered. I thought this was too good to be true and decided to examine the whole thing more closely.
After looking at the products and the detailed descriptions of each, I was very dissapointed to realize this was a scam. For example: an IBM laptop with a regular Pentium 366mhz processor (considered good around the years 98-99), only a 3GB hard drive (barely enough space for the Windows Operating System itself).
Anyway to make a long story short, they are getting you to pay top dollar for products that are outdated. They advertised that IBM laptop - National Ref. Retail $899.95 and $499.95 after rebate. I can buy that same piece of crap right now for $150 bucks.
After reading those product descriptions, I decided to research the company on the internet. Boy, am I glad I did. I found more consumer complaintss than I could have ever imagined! Bottom line people... DO NOT trust this company, DO NOT purchase anything! Because if you do, nine times out of ten, you will probably be filing a consumer complaints too!
