Independence University is a rip off. DO NOT ATTEND THERE! I'm not satisfied at all because they are trying to rip the military off. I'm suppose to get charged 260 per credit hour which is a 20% discount of off 325 which the full rate per hour. They will charge the VA 260 an hour for 6 hours which was 1560. They then turned around tried ti charge them 2200 for 6 hours which is full rate 325 an hour. I spoke to them about the situation and have not been getting a straight answer about over charging them. They also won't refund me for my money I payed. I payed a 45.00 fee for a RT board review course I had to repeat which the advisor said it was waived and I supposed to had been refunded. I called the accounting department and sent a email, no response. I also paid some money upfront from the beginning out of pocket which now the VA is going to pay them for the courses when I first begin and they haven't mention giving my money back. Do not go there because it is a rip off.
