Nationwide C.S
Ripoff, out right fraud, illegal, for starters

For all you people who reported being ripped off by Nationwide C.S.inc, I saw the ad myself and was ready to send money in to see what would happen. Fortunately my daughter knew where to go online to check these type things out, and found this website, so I was forewarned and didn't get involved.

However, I have been duped before and have a suggestion for all of you who were taken with this whole sham. There are two things you can do that may help, in addition to reporting them to the BBB. Try calling the Las Vegas District Attorney's office, city and state offices if possible, and DA's office too. Get their addresses, and a specified person that the complaint should go to, make a copy of your report if possible, and then mail the formal written report they can work with and have on file.

I would also call the Las Vegas TV stations, even radio stations if possible, and find out which stations handle "trouble shooting" companies like this. Some stations have specific departments and investigative reporters that love nothing better than getting into someone's face with these things, confront them, and really GET AT THEM!

They find out who to contact, where to go, etc, to get at the bottom of things, and even have people arrested. We have three TV stations in our city, and I know for sure that one of them has just such a specific "trouble shooter" department, and they really get after these people. But it has to be a TV station in the city where the fraudulent company is, or at least listed, in this case in Las Vegas. They will do their best to track them down.

I would also call or write the Las Vegas Governor's office as well to see what else they can suggest. But definitely contact the Las Vegas Attory General's office FIRST, along with their local TV stations. I've had to do that three times myself to get action, once for a bank, once for a long distance phone company, and once for a value coupon place. The value coupon place somehow got my debit card number from a main data base, from something I ordered from TV. The coupon place said when people order something from TV, their charge (or debit) info is entered into a main data base, which many other company's have access to (which I believe is illegal).

The coupon company simply got my info from the data base and used it as a purchase for one of their products. I called them on it and reported it. Couple months later, they did it again! I called them again and said I was reporting them to the BBB and the Attorney General's office, and if it happens again, they will be hearing from my sister who is a lawyer. I know this has nothing to do with the Nationwide C.S. Scam, but I mentioned it to you people so you can be on the watch for that kind of thing too, and know that there are "data bases" out there where your card info goes, that other company's can get into. So watch out for that as well!
Good luck to all of you!
