On August 5 I paid One-Set-Price $45,745.00 for a complete business with 25 retail locations selling phone cards only because they offered a written money back guarantee. As it turned out, everything they promised was a lie and the written money back guarantee wasn't worth the paper it was written on.
I spent months and numerous correspondences attempting to get my money back, all to no avail. My initial 20% deposit was made via a credit card and I was therefore able to get back $9,149.00 by disputing the charge with the credit card company. However, this was a major fight because One-Set-Price kept writing back to the credit card company lying about our agreement.
I attempted to file suit on my own but according to my attorney the suit would have to filed in Florida and the cost would be almost as much as One-Set-Price owes me and there was no guarantee of winning. Besides, even if I won my attorney felt there was little chance I would be awarded attorneys fees. It doesn't make sense to spend $40,000.00 to win $40,000.00.
It is my understanding that a class action lawsuit has been filed and I would sincerely like to be a part of it. Hopefully, I can be contacted through this website with information pertaining to any and all actions being taken against One-Set-Price.in the mean time, all I have is $10,000.00 worth of useless phone cards and I'm out $36,596.00.
